The Drone is one of the enemy types found in Ghostrunner. Drones float in the air, and begin shooting when spotting the player. They shoot a singular bullet at regular intervals and can be dodged fairly easily. Drones can be killed via any attacks.

When dropping onto a drone from above, The Ghostrunner will latch onto it with his sword. The drone will instantly begin descending with a medium speed, and the direction of it's descent can be controlled. Pressing the jump button during descent will make The Ghostrunner jump off the drone, sending it forward in it's direction before the jump. Upon colliding the drone will explode, instantly killing any enemies caught in range.

Sometimes Drones are used as parts of platforming challenges rather than enemies.
