The Key is one of the enemy types found in Ghostrunner. It is the most common enemy the player meets, and is the first one introduced in-game. Keys shoot a singular bullet at regular intervals. While mostly standing in one place, they can sometimes adjust their position slightly. If the enemy encounter hasn't started (no enemies in the room have spotted the player yet) it is possible to sneak up on them. Their projectiles can be easily avoided via sensory boost. Before a bullet is shot, a Key's gun glows bright red.
