The Warden is one of the enemy types found in Ghostrunner. Wardens are ninjas that use katanas, seemingly trying to look like a Ghostrunner. Their attack is a dash: After a short windup accompanied by a red pulse at it's end, they dash forward, killing the player with a large hitbox. Trying to just kill them will result in player's attack getting blocked, and player getting thrown back with a rebooting message, similarly to Enforcer's shield.

To kill a warden the player must swing his blade at the correct timing during warden's dash, which makes The Ghostrunner parry the attack, sending the Warden staggering backwards and opening him for a kill. He can also be killed with an ability, or by slicing him before the enemy encounter (enemy spotting a player) activates.

When seeing and killing the Ghostrunner Wardens have a chance to say quotes like "Yare Yare Daze" or "Mukatte kuru no ka" from the anime 'JoJo's bizarre adventure'
